Default Doing Well

Well, I'm really glad I've joined this community because I really feel that I can lose the weight now. Its only been a week and it was hard to get on that scale but once I did, I felt better about myself. Besides, I was able to fill out my Weight Goals, which helps tremendously. My mini goal is to reach 200 lbs and my weekly weigh in is Wednesday's so I can keep track. I work full time and go to school Wednesday's and Thursday nights, which doesn't allow for me to have a healthy dinner. Today however, I went to Burger King and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich (no mayo or sauces) and a diet coke. I know it may seem small but that's a big step for me. Fast food is the worst and its all over the place!! I feel good. Anyway, alone I've never been able to do this but now, I feel like its not just me anymore. I have people going through the same thing and while its not easy for anyone, it can be done. I'm feeling really good and appreciate the words of people who have been keeping me motivated. I feel great and in control at the moment.

Well you made the first step and that is choosing to eat right. But just remember that anything served at a fast food restraunt is going to be more fattening then if you made it yourself. Also, eating out less with put more money back in your bank account! I probably saved 50-75 bucks a month by not eating out anymore. If you want a buddy let me know. I may be strict when it comes to dieting but I have lost 70+ lbs so I know what I am talking about. I wish you the best of luck!

Well you started on the right, you made a small change in your diet that will come out as a huge change physically. May I suggest preparing food at home and bringing it with you. If you are looking for something to grab and go why not try bars such as slim fast or body for life? They pack all the vitamins and minerals your body needs. Don't have on every day just keep them on hand for those hectic days. Another good advice is to plan your meals days ahead. I find it when I plan my meals and wright them on paper I stick to my diet more better. Another good food suggestion is Weight Watcher meals. There tasty, you can find them in any supermarket and its a fast meal for someone who is on the run like you are. I wish you luck!
