Hi! I'm new and extremely green! I haven't figured out much about the site yet. I was 270 at my highest lost 80 and have been slowly gaining it back. I want to stop doing that and head back the other way.

Exclamation Re: Newbies Sign in Here!

Hi everyone--I have been away from this site for a long-------time, after having spent ALOT of mo0ney on other sites, getting nowhere fast, I am back to dig in my heels before it is really TOO LATRR. I am noty being fatalistic, but realistic--as I am 65 yerars young'however I have three Granddaughters that I need to stick around for, so here I go again--as the lat Ronald Reagan would have said. So, here I be. Nance

Hi all! I'm Hazel, I'm new. I'm from Scotland, and need to lose 15lbs that I've slowly put on over the last few years of university, dinners out with my boyfriend and comfort eating. Would love to meet some people who are also trying to change habits and learn how to say no to treats and cravings! Looking forward to getting to know the site

Default Best New Motivational book, Ultra Fat to Ultra Fit

I'm new and excited about a book I just read. Ultra Fat to Ultra Fit by Noah Walton is really funny and inspirational. It is the story of a scientist/college student who makes himself an experiment. He eventually loses a bunch of weight and then begins an exercise program that really impresses. I laughed out loud in spots but the beauty of the book is that it gives information about weight loss and exercise and why diets don't work for most people. Read it to find out what worked for him. It is not the typical diet/exercise book!!!

Thanks for letting me share and I hope it helps someone else!
