Hi everybody, I'm not exactly a newbie, I've been here about two months. I just wanted to mention in case you haven't found them yet or I haven't contacted you yet personally, to check out the weight loss teams. go under forums and check them out. I am personally a member of the Diamonds and they are a great group. We support each other in all aspects of our journey and personal lives. We give each other challenges to meet each day. I personally really enjoy being on a team, sort of makes me accountable to someone other than me and that helps. When I first came to the site, I stumbled around and found the teams so I thought I would mention them here so anyone who might be interested could check them out. I know right now, we have room on the Diamonds and the Rockstars have room for members, not sure about the others. If I can help in anyway, let me know. Best of luck on reaching your goals.

Hello. I'm 30, an editor, and I live in Boston. I'm very overweight, and I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) so I need to lose weight to be healthier. And right now I am trying to post my first blog entry, but I can't figure it out. Boogers.

hi everyone, im new here so be nice! lol

well im 21 and weigh 187 pounds (boohoo) ive always been overweight but never this heavy, of course my weight has increased after having my son who is now nearly 4yrs old. i lost 3 stone about 2yrs ago, but i cant seem to lose any more and its becoming quite depressing and preventing me from being my usually out going self, its as though my fat is taking control of me and making me a recluse as i barely go out; unless its taking my son to playgroup.

ive never been on one of these forums before and maybe i should really be talking to close ones about it, but neither of them can relate as they are mostly slim or happy with the way that they look.
ive been with my boyfriend for 5yrs and all though are relationship is great, he doesnt help much! he loves my body and the size it is but i have come to hate it!!!

if anyone is out there to give me some tips and encouragement then please do

Hi everyone! I am Stacey and I am 36 years old - ok 37 in about 17 days - but I am still in denial...LOL I currently weigh about 233 lbs and I just want to be done with the whole fat thing. About 10 years ago I lost 110 lbs....not to mention the 185 lbs that I lost by divorcing my 1st husband...LOL! anyway I kept that weight off until I tore my ACL 5 years ago...followed that up with an at-risk pregnancy, a new marriage to a career US Marine - 5 moves - one across country with a 5 week old, 3 pre-teens and 2 dogs, a husband in Iraq .....and what else? Ummm oh yeah a healthy dose of depression and here I am up about 70 lbs...and I am ready to take control.

I found this sight and I am hoping that I can give support to someone that needs it and find support for myself along the way.

I know I can do this - I have done it before and I think that is a big part of the problem...I know this road and it is a long one...

At any rate - I will be checking in regularly!

Hi, my name is Elise! I just joined recently to keep myself motivated... I started off weighing 130 and my goal weight is 110. Hopefully i'll be able to reach my goal weight and stay within my diet limits! I've been walking 4 miles per day but recently slacked off. I'm hoping to become re-motivated and start up again! But a 9 pound weightloss is a fabulous feat for me!

Hi. I'm Melanie. I have been overweight all my life. I've lost significant weight once, but it didn't last long. I'm looking to change my lifestyle so that I can be and have more fun! (I need more energy to do it)

Question Re: Newbies Sign in Here!

Hi, I am Kat, and Im new to the site today. Just trying to get a feel for it. I am finally really ready to lose the weight. My health is starting to go bad, I am a borderline Diabetic. I had not been on a scale in months, though i noticed most of my clothes were not fitting me. When I jumped on the scale this weekend, I was disgusted and ashamed for myself. But every day is a new day, and today I am starting out positive!!!
