What are booster notes?

I keep finding new cool aspects to this site. Some I can figure out others I am in the dark about. BOOSTER NOTES....sounds fun, but what is it?

It is just a note you can send to someone that shows on their profile that other people can see....a note of encouragement or whatever you want it to be. Click on a person's profile and there is an option to send them a booster note.....a note to boost their day!
