Default help get me through temptation!

I just want to lose a few pounds and feel healthier.. eat so I have the energy to be active but not feel weighed down by cravings etc. I'm good most of the time.. but that one moment of willpower when the chocolate cake is being passed in front of your face.. or the alarm goes off at 7:00 am for you to go exercise but it would be so lovely to just drift back to sleep.. that's when I break down. I need help getting through these moments! When I get tired and stressed I start thinking it doesn't really matter.. What do you do to stay motivated? Anyone in a similar situation and need a buddy? we can motivate eachother.
