Default Cabbage soup?

I heard that you can store 5-25 lbs. in your colen....!!! Is this true?* I also heard that you can flush your system naturally with cabbage soup.* Yes, I know that if you eat more fiber you'll go reguler but I seem to have trouble with this.* anyone ever do this or know of way to cleanse your colen naturally and cheap?

Cabbage soup is ok--but you don't want to only eat that. And from*my experience in the past, it didn't "cleanse".
My suggestion (and what I do) is to go and get yourself some fiber supplements. The kind in pill form made of psyllium husk works best for me. Even the generic ones work--and some have calcium added to it if you need. It costs about ten dollars for 160 tablets (if you go generic--ten dollars for about 60 if you go name brand). You do take four to six tablets at a time, but let me tell you, it cleans you out pretty good.
I would also be interested in seeing how others cleanse if they do. I have heard that cleansing is not necessary but on the flip side, I've heard that eating the proper amount of fiber can reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer and a number of other things.

Fiber supplements work great.
You can buy the pills, but I just use the powder & mix it with water in the morning & before dinner.
The other benefit is, it really fills you up & keep you full for a long time after you eat breakfast or dinner.

There's other (more bizarre) things like sea salt cleansing...etc but I've never tried them.

I drink what is called 'slim tea'.* It's actually green tea with natural additives.* I drink a cup every evening and it keeps me cleaned out.* A warning though...the first couple of cups may cause stomach cramps, but those will stop after you've evacuated your bowels, and after the first 2 or 3 days they'll stop completely.* The cramps are due to your body trying to cleanse your bowels more efficiently.* And green tea is good for you anyway.

Now, I maybe wrong but straighten me out if I am. I thought when you ate the required amounts of high fiber foods such as fruits, with the skin on, and vegetables-leafy green, beans, grains and drinking the recommended water each day would keep you regular. I know that prunes is a good source of fiber. I also agree with the coffee, when I drink it in the morning, it sends me. Its very important to keep the*colon clean.**
