Default RE: diet pills?

Not really, since I am an organic person, meaning I don't like having anything in my body unless I really need it.

Default diet pills?

Has anybody ever used diet pills to lose weight? If so, which ones and did they work? What about after you finished taking the pills?

I've used most of them and never found any that didn't work without some adverse side effect.* And I gained all the weight back as soon as I stopped taking them.

The old Metabolife worked for a minute--the ones with ma huang in them. In fact, just about anything with ma huang in them worked a little--but now the FDA's taken it off the market because it causes heart attacks. Scary--and even if you took the "working" pills,*you still had to keep dieting and exercising--they just made it easier because you never got*hungry. AND you'd always gain back the weight you lost.**Now I don't take diet pills, but I take a whole food vitamin.
There's no quick fix. It's unfortunately all about working hard--eating less and moving more. It sucks.

Kinda the same answer I gave for the hypnosis question.

There are a few diet pills out there that will boost metabolism and/or reduce hunger but they're also downsides to them them too.
1. They often have side-effect (raise Blood Pressure, make you nervous, nauseous....etc)
2. You have to take them everyday and several times through out the day and they tend to be expensive ($40-$200/month is very common).

And you don't really need them.* Back in the day, I used them (with the substance that later got banned by the FDA, I forget what it's called).

Yes, it worked, but it also turns out it had a lot of bad side effects and later got banned by the FDA.
That was my experience anyways.

Please don't use those pills. Ma huang is an "herbal" version of Ephedra, which is what they put in cold and sinus medication. It is also one of the main ingredients in crystal meth. That's why all of the pharmacies are now keeping those OTC meds behind the counter. Bottom line, diet pills DO NOT work and they are extremely dangerous and can be addictive, they are basically legal speed with a diuretic. Think about it, would Oprahor any other celebrity,*with all the money in the world, still be struggling with weight if a magic pill existed?
