Default Side dishes for dinner...low point ideas?

I would love it if everyone could share ideas with me on what I could make for low point side dishes.
*
My meals usually go something like this...some kind of meat usually , some kind of noodles, rice or mashed potatoes and a fresh vegi.** My problem is the noodles or rice or usually 5-7 pts for 1/2 to 1 c. serving...I really don't want to use that many points on something like that but at the same time just meat and vegi's wouldn't be enough to fill me up.
*
Any suggestions?*

Mashed potatoes are 2pts for a half cup. Also you could do baked potatoes w/ FF sour cream and "I can't believe it's not butter" spray. Of course, veggies are always a good thing--come up with interesting combos. Fresh green beans (steamed or sauteed in olive oil) with a little garlic and lots of pepper are to die for. Salads of course...uhm...beans in general are super high fiber if you can stand them. Sweet potatoes are even lower in points, but I don't love those, lol. I usually just have small servings of sides unless they're fruits or veggies. Oh, sometimes I serve fresh fruit at dinner too. It's a nice change and low points. Hope that helps a little. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's ideas! Great question!
