Lightbulb New Group - Low-Fat Vegans &/or Intuitive Eaters

Hi, I'd like to welcome anyone who is trying to adopt a healthier way of eating in either of these two ways to join me on this thread!

- Low-fat vegans, or vegan wannabes. This is "vegan without the politics," as I'm doing this primarily for health reasons. So if you wear leather or eat honey, by all means you'll be welcome here! "Hardcore" vegans are welcome too, of course! (some of the health problems I hope will improve under this way of eating are discussed here PCRM >> Health, Vegetarian Diets and Recipes, Preventive Medicine and Nutrition, Cancer Prevention and Survival).

- Intuitive eaters, or intuitive eater wannabes. Anyone who, like me, is struggling to learn to listen to their body's own cues and eat according to their natural desires & hunger. In other words, stop "dieting" and start living! (for an overview & links to intuitive eating websites, see Intuitive eating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

As you can see, our focus won't be on "weight loss" but rather on supporting these two "healthful eating" habits. Many studies now show that if we learn to eat this way, we'll naturally lose weight, and I've finally come to believe them! Please join me in this journey.
