So, I subscribe to this email newsbulletin thing called "Hungry Girl" which is very cool - it's like a Consumer's Report for dieters, analyzing and grading ALL the "healthy" snacks and drinks and sweeteners and energy bars and frozen meals and fast food items that are being churned out every day to try to attract those of us who want o be careful about what we eat, and they give you the REAL scoop on what's actually good for you and what's got hidden pitfalls. They also do recipes, ingredient swap advice, and tips on how to live well without living wiiiiide.

Just recently they made their famous Shopping List avaiable for download, so I thought I'd share it -- it's everything that made it past their team of scientists and analysts and taste-testers, so when you're standing there staring at the 800 versions of fat free tortilla chips or whatever that's on the shelf, you can just whip out your HG Shopping List and see which one made the grade... hope it helps!

That's awesome! Thank you! I am always looking for no hydrogenated oils or partially hydrogenated oils and I always somehow end up buying these things!!!! I am thinking I am buying something healthy because it will say "Sugar Free" but then there's hydrogenated oils in it!!!! So, you just have to be very careful and this list will be great to print out and take with me to the store!
