Question Jeans for larger women

I dont know if this post goes here, but I couldnt find anywhere else I could complain about it.

So...

Does anyone else have the same problem I do with purchasing womens jeans? It seems like all the jeans that are sold in stores such as Wally Mart are made for small petite girls. And all the jeans that are sold in plus size women stores are made to make a women look bigger than she really is. I purchased some jeans from Catos the other day, which were made for my size. Well I bought the jeans on before trying them, and they made my butt look huge, and my legs look skinny. The waste fit loose, the hips tight, and then the leg part went in even tighter, then flared out at the bottom. I looked like a pear on a stick. So I took the jeans back and tried on a new pair which had the same affect. I then went to wal mart and couldnt find a girl pants that would fit, in both the 'regular' girls section and the plus size. So I finally went to the mens section and found a pair that fit tight on the hips but perfect on the legs.
Its a struggle to get into those jeans but at least they look the way I want them to look.

Bottom line; they make girl pants too 'girly' . If only they could just make them look casual.

Why is it so difficult to find a good pair of jeans?

I will definatly have to check that store out. I havent seen one near me, but im sure I can find them online. Thanks I wasnt really able to find any pants for me at lane bryant, all their pants had the same affect as catos pants.

I wonder what plus size body type all these designers base their designs on

hmmm...I am a size 26/28 in Jeans (though I might be a 24 now cause they are loose) but I tend to shop at Fashion bug (they only sell women's clothes, misses, juniors and plus sizes). My favorite pair of jeans, personally is a brand called Zana Di. You might want to try those if you can find them in your area.
They come in light colors or the darker that really slim you down. They even carry the shorts or capris (not sure if I spelled that right).
