Kama, Tina, Debbie, and Little Flower- thanks for your concern.

I am doing better except my feet really, really hurt and the inflammation is spreading up and down. Even the small bones in my feet hurt and I don't know if I can walk at all. I take aspirin. I elevate my feet. I stretch. The pain is still there and is getting stronger.

I keep eating like I did when I exercised and I have to change that too.

People keep telling me about swimming. I guess I will go tomorrow and try it. I may even take swimming lessons to learn how to swim for exercise. Usually I just enjoy being in the water and float there.

Kama, thanks for encouraging us to think about not bingeing during this long weekend.

Bummer, we usually go hiking and camping. Now it's hard to walk up stairs. UGH.

The foot is up for me, too. Just one and i can walk. Am holding off on swimming until i have a chance to really get out of the inflammation stage. The motion of kicking your feet is actually alot of work. But the weightlessness is amazing. Swim lessons sound great, Tatiana. Even when you know how to swim they are a great way to look at form and function. I used to take swim class at the local community college - it was great b/c i went 2-3 times a week, had a set plan for each day, and got tips. Haven't found anything like that here yet. Good luck to all on a binge free weekend. The power is in us all and it is just a choice!

I am eating well today. No more bingeing.
See, you picked yourself up again..... good for you. Have you started physical therapy yet? You could do your exercises everytime you feel like binging. Your therapist will be delighted with you, you'll progress faster, and you'll be able to get back to regular exercise in no time.

i sure love this thread, I am a binge eater big time. why cant we eat only when we are hungry instead i eat when sad, lonely, mad, whatever. whats that huh? it wears me out. I joined overeaters anonymous, 2 weeks ago and i love it. its meetings with people who are just like me. its feels so good to go talk about my illness and get support, kinda like this forum. so i will be here often, so cant wait to get to know everyone. take care!!!

Welcome, Denise, yeah, the ol Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired? HALT! lol, my biggest one is tired, hungry goes either way, when I get too, too hungry, I'm jut not anymore, back from anorexia prolly, I can go day's without eating, but sit me in front of food if I haven't eaten in 6 hours... there's a binge in the making...

I've been drinking alot of water... having that to do with my hands has really helped the mindless munching while I'm doing something else... now I just look down and my bottle is empty all the time.

How's everyone's weekend? My bf is sick, so mine was just work and taking care of him and one kid, the boys are with their dad, 2 hr (each way) trip today to rectify that...

Hi you all, I have been MIA, sorry. I did not do well yesterday, I am really an emotional eater. Back on track today. Welcome to all the new people!

Hi Guys,
Well, we had a great time at Club Med. We got back Tues. night. I did pretty well with the food and both travel days. I'm not back to where I was before I left, but hopefully by the end of the week.

School starts tomorrow so I'm off to do the bedtime thing.

For a holiday weekend, my food was fantastic!
With God's help, I'm going to find my way with this.

Ok all, the biggest thing I learned this weekend is that I am a VERY emotional eater.
But I want to share I wanted to binge real bad about midnite last nite, but I forced myself to stay in bed. Yeah!!
How is everyone?

welcome back Dara. Coming back home is always a re-entering process for me!

Kama, good job keeping away from the eats last night in mid of night!

I'm okay over here - really resting the bum foot so my exercise and activity are way down. Yesterday i felt some possible early labor stuff, too, so i've been focussed on baby we'll see
