Thanks, Tatiana! It's still a work in progress, but the more times I listen to my body and it doesn't steer me wrong, the easier it gets to trust it. I guess that's like anything, more positive experiences tend to bring about more trust.

Luckily I've never really had to swing the same weight around, I went from 180-220 in 2 months back at the beginning of 2004 when I started on a new med, I slowly worked my self up to the 230-250 range, but never really noticed when any of that weight came or went, because I was alway essentially the same size in that 20 lb range. I'm surprised that I've gone below 200, because I've never been that low since the first month on that med, which I'm still on, so... We'll see where it takes me...

Right now I'm WAITING, almost patiently even, to be hungry, because I want CHOCOLATE in the worst way... but... grr... I didn't know before breakfast that I was going to be craving chocolate, or I would have already been able to have it... but NO... the craving comes on AFTER I eat... grr
bummer! hope that craving passes nicely or that you will be hungry soon. LOVE that you re waiting to be hungry - you are really exercise discipline!!! that is AWESOME!!!!!

Wow, this thread has been busy!
No, Tatiana, I won't NEVER buy cookies again, but I have to get this under control. I will doing some baking closer to Christmas too. So I thought good time to just not buy any. I know I will have a little bit later.
Debbie, I feel you, my urge to binge has been raging! Not sure if it is the holidays or what, but it has been awful.
So glad you are doing well with the bike, too Tatiana!
Hang in there, Tina!

Not always, sometimes I give in, but eating when I'm not hungry almost always ends up in a binge, cuz I never feel satisfied. Which I guess is pretty logical, if you're not hungry, food isn't going to satisfy you... SO, I TRY not to, but... I am not always successful!

that is so very logical. this idea that food isn't what we want when we binge. there i go feeling stupid again as it seems so obvious, but some where i forgot all of this. yes, when i eat like that it is something else i want and food doesn't give me that. wow. what's going on tina, you are my personal guru right now!!! thanks!

Hello. I did well on not binge eating yesterday. I tried eating a bigger breakfast and it seemed to work! I ended up being fuller thru the day and felt more energetic. I didn't get hypoglycemic either, which I normally do about 10 am, and then 11 am, and then I eat lunch at noon, to find me hypoglycemic again at 1. So, this is a constant problem I work thru. I went walking at 4 too which I notice really helps keeping me from binging. Normally, if i don't walk at night, I have a very hard time resisting the urge to binge. So, it's all a matter of finding what works for me and fitting it into my schedule. Sometimes tho, a walk is not feasible in the dark no matter what!

lol... don't feel bad... I went 35 years without realizing most of this stuff! Idk, seems like the longer I'm on this journey, the more stuff comes to me, kinda like I'm waking up to things I SHOULD have known, but didn't.

hehe, cool to be your guru... I've never been a good example to follow before, I'm usually the poster girl for what NOT to do! So very glad I'm inspiring you right now!

This site has been awesome for me, I learn a little bit more about myself almost everyday.

Exactly, like I told Ted last nite, I feel like there is a whole I need to fill up when I am upset. He understood then. I told him I was reacting like an addict to those darn cookies.
