Kama - nice one on avoiding the binge. How's your Mom doing? Are you getting in enough good food during the day? And enough water? It might help avoid the munchies at night.

Debbie - think you need to relax a bit girlie! You're so close to delivering now, you should just be focusing on keeping yourself comfortable and happy, and getting enough rest (cuz you wont get that much time to do that in the next few months!).

Good job, Little Flower!
Debbie, I agree, take it easy, you will be so busy after you have the baby!
Well all, I confess, did NOT do well last nite, Ted ordered pizza, I had 3 peices, and then woke up at 11:30 craving sweets! I had 3 graham crackers and some sugar free pudding. I know that was not real bad, but I already had all my calories for the day and then some! Plus, mom was feeding me some of her dinner! How do I quit eating at nite, I know it is all emotional.

When you go to bed at night, close the door of the kitchen after you and dont open it until the morning. Dont give yourself permission to go in there intil the morning for breakfast. I know it's tough when you wake up in the middle of the night craving sweet things or feeling like you need something to eat. What I do now is I fill a bottle of water and keep it by the bed. If I wake up and feel like I want to eat something, I take a drink from the bottle. AND, I know this might be a bit wierd, I also then focus on a part of my body that I know is getting smaller (for me it's my waist and stomach) and remind myslf that if I dont eat at night, I'll get slimmer and be closer to my goal.

I am back. I heard from Sarah and I hope she will join us again soon.

Today is my first day of No binge commitment. Things have been too hectic and stressful... so I failed.

Starting from the bottom. Going back to fitday.com to set the clock right.

I haven't exercised at all. Not even the bike downstairs. I am going to see my trainer in an hour though. THe walking is still painful. I just can't stop thinking about walking! I want to walk and I can't.

So that's it. I probably will need a lot of your support girls. It's hard to start over. It's so easy to fly when you have at least a week without a binge under your belt.

Little Flower, congrats on making your life healthy! Recognizing and admitting the binge problem is a huge step toward healing. I am glad you are here on this thread.

Welcome back, it is not a failure unless you quit altogether, which you didn't. And you are back, I see that as succes.

Kama, another thing that I do to keep myself from getting out of bed and going downstairs is I keep some sugar free candies like butterscotch, Werthers caramel, etc. They're only about 5 calories and one will take the edge off.
Another thing I did for awhile when I wanted to eat, but I didn't want to eat, and I know you ALL KNOW what I mean, I'd eat a tootsie pop. They last a good while, makes you feel like you're having dessert, and they are only 60calories. I'm not a hard candy kind of girl so I don't binge on these. The tootsie pops have even helped me on vacation at the pool while I'm reading a book.

Tatiana, your weight ticker still says down 15lbs so how can you say you're starting over?? What I'm trying to do now is thank God for every ounce I have lost, every stitch of clothes I can fit in, and all my other blessings. Focus on your blessings, and your blessings will increase. Focus on your problems, and your problems increase.

I hope everyone has a blessed day and can see the good that they do today.
