TOM is here with Cramp and Crabby. I skipped weigh in today. There was no point...TOM also brought Bloat and Water too. I wish TOM would go away and never return....he sucks.

For now I am in survival mode....just trying to not binge or overeat....not that the appetite is any good right now anyway...I have a harder time getting my water into me when TOM is here too.

So, bad weekend. Was staying with my family back home and there was literally NO healthy food in the house... well, there were 3 bananas and 2 apples which I did eat. But the rest of the food in the house - cheese, full fat milk, biscuits, white bread, cream cakes, sugary cereal.... there was no whole grain, no low fat/low sugar. I was constantly hungry so I ate rubbish and I binged Friday and Saturday night. I didnt binge last night because my b/f stayed over with me.

But he's gone away for 8 days and I can feel some panic starting to set in. I'm just going to focus on each time intervel between meals and do as I should and not as I want.

I just opened up to a friend of mine about binging too. She has the same problem. We're just talking about it now on msn while we're both in work. I'm feeling upset talking to her about it, but relieved too. She could be the support I need so much in the "real"world. We're meeting up for coffee at the weekend to talk about it more. I see her in the gym too so can talk to her about it then too.

Well wanted to report to you all, that while I did indulge a little, it was better than before. I kept thinking of you all, and I was able to keep it down to a smaller level!

That's what the thread is there for. Every small victory is a victory no less. And with the past few days you've had, I think you should give yourself a pat on your back. I think the hardest part of weightloss can be where you are now, maintenece. I'm delighted to see you're dealing with your binging. You're setting yourself up for success in the long run.

Hi Guys, just wanted to touch base.

Rachel - I tried to go to your profile and it said no user exists. I've never had that happen. Maybe it's a glich.

Sarah - are you on the pill? I'm thinking about getting off of it and I wonder if I'll have those symptoms.

lil flower, I'm sorry, I don't think I know your name - while your bf is gone, or anytime really, just try and stay busy. One of the worst combos is weak and idle time. Watch a movie, wash the car, clean a drawer, etc.

Kama - good job on the better weekend. It is such a gradual process.

We are going on vacation on the 20th, and I'm trying to get to a weight where I feel good and can fit in the majority of my clothes. The scale is going down, but like a snail.

My BMR(basal metabolic rate), what I would burn if I slept all day, is 1373. FYI this # is very close to the one you get if you go to a calculator on the internet. This website might even have that.

The nutritionist hooked me up to a machine and my body fat is 24.5% and it's supposed to be 22.6% she said.

My muscle mass is 33.2% and it's supposed to be 29.6%.

It says I have 42.3 extra cellular mass and 47.8 is recommended so I need more fluids.

Okay, I thought if you had more bf you had less mm and vice versa. Who knew?? Also, it is odd that I need more fluids since I drink about 80oz a day.

She wants me to eat 1150cal and exercise to burn 250cal a day. I did spin this morning and burned 600.

I go in Thurs. to talk to her again.

Hey Dara...I am happy to say TOM is regular without the pill. The symptoms don't last too too long but I could live without them haha. I have a big reproductive history though...with several several surgeries and I am thinking most of my symptoms are actually caused from adhesions. I am happy to say since my last 2 surgeries in March TOM is only lasting 2-4 days instead of 5-8.

Not doing too too bad here.....hoping to feel perkier in the next day or so!

How is everyone else doing? Hope your all doing GREAT!!

PS.....I think there was a different Rachel here at the start of the thread...is it her profile you clicked on maybe??

wow, it took me a very long time to realize what TOM meant.... I am definitely smarter than that haha

So I definitely cut down on my binges this past weekend and I still haven't lost weight. That's so frustrating. I know the binge is more about the state of mind than the food, but it is very irritating to know that I could have eaten more and still been the same.. grrrr

Anyway, hope everyone else is doing better than my scale is and if anyone knows why it says I'm a non-existing user, please give me a heads up. When I click on myself from the forum, the same thing happens, but I swear, I'm here. haha

Thank you, I sometimes feel like I'm out of control in most areas except what I eat, and how much I workout. I feel like I don't have alot of time to just be. And I think it is causing a real emotional let down on Sundays. I am increasing my workout frequency to help deal with the stress.

Very gradual, still trying to learn why I do it.
