OK, hormones can really screw our plans and I totally understand and can relate to that. Yes, start over and press on. And really learn from your mistakes.

Sarah, what happened to your decision to post about your cravings instead of eating? It really helped me when I was on a verge of bingeing when I was in pain due to tendonitis. Remember? It worked, at least for me. Just give it a try next time when you are emotional, tired, bored, and feeling miserable.

Are you still exercising? Hang in there and of course, I have been thinking of you. I am sticking with this thread for my dear life. Being honest about binge eating was a start of the real weight loss for me.

Kelly, there is nothing wrong with you. You just have some wrong eating habits and a wrong way to deal with life through food. You are a beautiful, worthy of love and care person. Food is not the right answer to problems though.
Please come back and start posting here. What are your trigger foods?

12 pounds Tatiana....CONGRATULATIONS! I am soooo very proud of you! I am sticking this out too.....I refuse to go back to the way things were. You are a true inspiration to me and I am grateful I found you!

We are heading outta town tomorrow for the night but will be back Sunday! I am looking so forward to Sunday and starting fresh again.....still exercising but I am retaining fluid a lot right now...and it is sooo humid so that isn't helping either. Not trying to make excuses....just stating some of the contributing factors lol!

I can't wait to see my ticker start to fall again.....this is the weeK!

12 pounds... Yes Sarah, can you believe it? I was stuck for about a year and now the weight is coming off. I work out every day though and track my food intake.

I know you can't give up now. You have all the info, you know what to do, and I am here to support you.

Something that makes you eat nonstop. For me it's pizza and cheesecake. I just can't have a little piece. For others it's chips or sweets or something else.

Have you read the article on the first page of this thread?

Kelly, I am glad you are back and asking questions. I am a long-time binge eater. I used to yo yo 15-20 pounds just because I ate in secret and at night.

Well, this morning I saw a number I liked. 154.7 pounds. Fantastic!

I feel like bingeing is in the distant past. However, it's right there should I relax my guard and believe that eating "normally" equals bingeing.

Watching my girlfriend bingeing on carbs evoked such a familiar feeling. I told her how I would eat the entire box of Cuties ice cream bars or a cheesecake. It was like I was talking about someone else, not me.

Sarah, I hope your weekend is going well and you remember why it is important to respect your body.

Kelly, have you thought about triggers?

Hey there - me again! I keep coming back in and out. Still not quite ready to let go, but am back reading this forum the last few days - tells me i'm getting closer. you all are doing so well, too, i think i feel a little inadequate. i'm at that early stage again of being into the binging...i remember that feeling of the binges being in the distance. nice. ok, gotta go pack some more! you all keep up the great work - personal, physical, emotional - it all!!!!

Debbie, you are totally worthy of being here. Where have you got that idea that you have to be perfect to present yourself to the word? And hide an imperfect one in food?

I think that if you read this forum a few times, you can see the fluctuation of stages in Sarah and I. It's fine as long as we are honest and don't pretend to be perfect, don't seek approval. And your experience with putting binges behind in the past is priceless. Please, stay.

Good luck with packing! The move is very straining especially for a pregnant mommy. I hope you have an army of friends helping you.

Hi! I'm 6 pages into reading this... and I can really relate! I am a binger (hmm... doesn't look right) and have gone to OA like some of you mentioned. I'm at work, so I can't finish reading or post more right now... but shortly I will get caught up and participate more!!!
