Default a lil upset

so last week i signed up for a 12 month contract with a personal trainer at my gym LA Fitness. I'm seeing him 2 days a week Tuesdays & Thursdays. Mondays & Wednesdays I have a work out buddy instead of my trainer. My question is how do you overcome the 1st few days of the soarness and achyness? I've also been on Hydroxycut and I've lost weight but not body fat. I wasn't going to the gym since I've been on the weight loss pills, but i have maintained a VERY strict diet. Now I'm at the gym trying to lose body fat and get my muscles toned. I'm so tired I feel like I could just sleep for DAYS!!! Hydroxcut gives me alot of energy but I still feel slumpy and soar. Also what do you eat before a workout? Should you drink cold water or room temp? How long do you work out for? Thanks! I need all the help I can get!

well, i know i'm no help here but i personally don't know of a way that u can prevent soreness n tiredness from working out n etc the only thing i know is a day at the spa..lol but hey it could help
n then 4 the water temp. 2 drink. well, i've heard that when the water is rm temp. u can drink more more easily but i've also heard when ur water is cold ur body burns a 100 calories warming it up. so u get the benefit of burning some calories while ur at it.

but i've also heard the downside is that extremely cold water is bad 4 ur organs so just don't go 2 cold.

good luck!

I find that stretching and drinking plenty of water is the best way to combat soreness. Being sore, to a certain extent, is a good sign. It means that your muscles are breaking down and having to rebuild stronger. Be sure that you work different muscles on TTH than you do on MW. Your muscles need time to regroup. Make sure your trainer is aware of your MW plans... or better yet, have him give you exercises to do.

How do you know you haven't lost any body fat? If you are using a scale that tells you your body fat, don't trust it. Those scales are ridicululously inaccurate.

Make sure your diet isn't so strict that you aren't getting enouch calories to sustain you, that could be why you are tired. Or maybe you just need more sleep. As your body gets used to working out again you should feel more energized.

Personally I don't think it matters how the water is before you drink it, so long as you drink it. I found this article. It has good information about what to eat and when.

Good luck to you and sorry about writing a novel!
