I know many people that are here and remain have created bonds with others of the same. I have seen many of you with incredible weight loss success.
I guess the point of "buddy Slim" is great, because we are accountable to others and inside of us, that makes us consider more before we eat that delicious spinach dip or bag of devine potato chips. (My biggest weaknesses!)

However, I am searching buddies, and finding that many are people whom haven't logged in since early 2007 or even 2006!

Are there people out there, that find themselves wanting that peer support but are having trouble getting into a "group" or such that want to be accountable with me... I am very open.. honest.. and here!

I have been doing it alone at home with family support.. but I think like minded individuals doing the same as me are what I need as that little piece missing for success.

There are a lot of people that sign up and come back a few times, some never come back. Others have been here for well over a year and are still going strong. You'll notice a lot of people sign up around the new year and quickly lose interest. It's really too bad because that's when support is needed the most. I hope you'll find that this is a place where you feel comfortable admitting your fears and bumps in the road as well as your success. That's what it's all about.

It was a complete fluke.. I have been searching calories and all sorts of things online, forums, etc.. and the other day just happened to come onto this.. I wish I found this place ages ago.. I think all the journaling, the food/calorie acknowledgement, is exactly what I need.. carrying around a book just wasn't working for me.. but am always near a computer.
I can be competitive.. so it gives me the edge I need to do the challenges.

Im really trying...Im kinda nervous about the weekend though

Ohh I am too! I find it so difficult not to go out to dinner ... it is such an easy thing to do.. and more social! I know if I fall a little.. I need to up the exercise that day... and balance my calories to still maintain a deficit.. but can i??? will laying on the couch with a movie get me? I set up my treadmill dead in front of a tv (in the basement, out of the way)... and I will pick shows that I must remain on it for... seems to keep me there..lol

You can do it Michelle.. skip the weekend garbage and get through it! Imagine how great you will feel Monday morning! No regrets!!!
