It's 6:45am and I ready to head out to water aerobics this morning. Hope the water is reasonably warm. Last week it was 78, that's pretty cold, for us. 82 is about perfect. I made my mini-goal and set a new one. This is my big challange, to reach it before Dec. 31. Sounds like a piece of cake,(oops) and it would be at any other time of year. A bit of advice, "Dare to Say NO!" to all food pushers, this includes moms pushing cookies, friends saying 'just one bite'. I think of them as the enemy in the fight against fat.

Nice goals everyone. I feel kind of stuck. I'm a little discouraged b/c today I am up. I hope it's just that lovely once a month womanly treat, but it could be the wine and extra weekend food...

So, my goals are that I'd like to drop another 3 by Sat but will be happy with 2! More long dog walks, weather permitting, and staying on the no night-time snacking OR having a carrot. CARROTS ROCK!

This is a cute idea. I have four dogs. One geriatric pug who's about 16 or so, and three chihuahuas. They were getting out so we rebuilt all the fences and everything and they still got out and chased the neighbors. My husband thought it would be cute to start fattening them up so they wouldn't be able to escape thru the holes in the fences. They can't now and I don't want them to gain anymore weight. His dog Nina is robust and looks like a fat sausage on short legs. My husband has started a job where he's no longer home much so the dogs don't get any tablescraps anymore. I want my dogs healthy, and I am trying to show him that with discipline we can keep them in the yard. I don't know if Nina's lost any weight yet, but she should minus the scraps. It's true that our dogs tend to gain weight if we are big. My dogs love walking too!!!!

Hi, I would love to join. I have three babies that can't wait for me to go walking with them.

Glad to have you Jessy. Jen and I set an original goal of walking our pups 3 times a week M, Th, and Su. I think i said 1 hour, but that really should be whatever anyone wants. Should we put our doggie goals back out there?

It's cold here, but I will try 60 min, but if the weather is too cold for me and Mo then, 20-40 min walks M, T, and Th (i'll be gone Fri-Tues).

Yay!

ps - i ate cake today. it was funny, i hadn't had sugar in a good week i could really feel it. i think i'm making up for my TOM (time of month) today.

I'm on the Hot Rods Weight Loss team as well, Ellie too, and we have team challenges like bicep curls and crunches. If you want we can add some of that over here!

peace out,
deb
