Default Re: The 30 Day No-Binge Challenge

Rats. Let's look at the rats Melissa. The rats can be quickly conditioned to exhibit bingeing behaviors by being put on cycling restrictive diet, adding stress, and having an intermittent access to palatable foods. Look at three components of setting up the bingeing behavior: restrict food for some time, add stress, and have rich, fatty foods available. Do it periodically... and you have BED, binge eating disorder.

I want to write it down again: every time after a binge is over and you go on restrictive diet and exercise a lot trying to burn off the binge, you simply start another cycle of bingeing programmed in your brain. It's yo yo... and restrictions are the part of the same cycle. You can't have a binge without having restrictions. And vice versa.

I have been suffering from this for a long time. I am working on changing my mindset now.
