Default Diet Caffine to Diet Caffine Free to Zero Pop

So I'm a huge pop drinker and I drink diet pop. I haven't had regular soda since January and it has helped a little. The problem is that I'm a caffine addict. I started drinking Diet Pepsi Max and after 2 of those I went 1 day without having one and it about killed me. After I took one sip of it the next day, I was fine. It's very pathetic but I need help to get off the caffine kick. After I do that, then I can focus on going from caffine free pop to no pop at all. That's my ultimate goal. Any suggestions on how to do this?

I am not sure how to do this either. Except go cold turkey like I did. I was so bad with soda as a teenager and adult that I would yell at my husband if he didn't stop and buy soda on the way home. That's when I realized I had to stop drinking so much. Now I drink flavored water. Beside they say people gain more weight from diet soda than regular soda. Forgot why but read it somewhere.

Well it's not good for you because of the aspartame. It causes memory loss and it actually rots your teeth more than regular soda. I tried to give up pop cold turkey a few times but it doesn't work anymore. My body has come to depend on the sugar from pop every day. It's really sad.
