I've been using Buddy Slim for awhile now and I really love it, but I haven't really explored the forums yet, so I thought I'd give that a try. I'm sure I'll see some people on here that I know from my list or blog. So "HI ya'll!" LOL

I've been looking at the challenges too and wondering if I'm up for that yet. Maybe you guys can give me the pros and cons and advice on how to know if I'm ready or not to do a challenge. I don't want to set myself up for failure.

Thanks! Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

Mel

Hi Melissa! I want to say that I have been doing a challenge since February and I have to say that I contribute alot of my weight loss to it. I have met some great buddies doing it. They are there to support you when you are doing great and when you are struggling. You are losing weight for yourself but at the same time you are doing it for your team and teammates and so you try and put that extra effort in. Those are my pros.

My cons are that it's not for everyone. To be in the challenge you have to be willing to workout and eat right the majority of the week no matter what team you are on. Others are counting on you to do your part in working out. And you get out of it what you put into it. If you talk on the forums and try and make some real connections with people, then you can get great support. But, that's up to you and what works for you.

So, if you like a little competition and willing to do your part, then the challenge could be for you. Good luck in whatever you choose.
