Hi, Amanda, I know exactly what you mean! I am in the same boat and I feel like it has been sinking for quite some time. Last week when I weighed, I had reached my heaviest that I had ever been. Time to take control once again and not let it go again! I am here for you and I hear you load and clear!

Hello!
I've been there too. I know exactly how it feels. A few years ago, I lost 90 lbs, but gained it all back (and then some). So, we're starting again? At least we're starting.

Hi Amanda: I am going through the same things. I fell off the wagon for about three weeks. I gained 4 of the 8 I had lost. Over this past weekend I said enough is enough. I hate myself I feel fat all the time etc etc etc. So I started again on Sunday and I am doing okay so far. So just pick yourself up wipe off the dust and just go for it. We are here to support you. YOU CAN DO IT!

Unhappy Re: Im Starting Again??

Amanda meet Cloey. Cloey meet Amanda. I am going through the exact situation and you sound as panicked as I feel. I've been stablized for the past 2 years but still totally overweight and hating it. Now I started even creeping up and last night because I REALLY wanted to freak myself out, I weighed myself BEFORE going to sleep. Holy Thunderous Thighs! I HAVE to do this. I'm afraid I'm going to end up 400 pounds with a cane unless I keep my hands and mouth off of food!!!!

So I went food shopping last night, bought healthy stuff to stock the fridge, downloaded a free pass to the new gym and brought workout clothes to work with me. I restarted my food journal and I'm not quitting!!!!

So keep in touch with me. We need to hold ourselves accountable.

Good luck,
Cloey

Listen don't be so down on your self for starting over agin..It's when you totally quit..That you fail yourself..I been on enough diets to know..that this is a life thing. You can't lose the weight and go about life like you don't have to worry about what you eat..You do!!I stopped dieting after i had my son..Gained so much weight..I said " what the hell"..I cant get this off again! My whole life has been a struggle to lose and maintain..Any way after he was born..I just gave up..The pounds kept comming on! So please don't every feel bad about starting over..WHEN YOU GIVE UP..THAT IS WHEN IT GET'S WORSE. never QUIT!!GOOD LUCK..

hang in there! it is hard! i found that everytime i would start, if I wasn't totally dedicated and ready, it didn't work. i had to start again and again. finally it hit me. i had enough! sounds like you are there. I am new here too and trying to strengthen my support system since in real life no one is with me. my husband is a snacker, none of my friends diet or care what they eat..
so hang in there and good luck. You can do it!

I'm with you all too! I searched for a site such as this in desperation and I'm at the very start. My whole life I've just wanted to get thin, stay thin; I've smoked decades of cigarettes, had times of eating disorders, you name it. I'm over all those things. I'm not sure how much body fat I will untimately lose. I weigh 222 at this junction; 41 per cent body fat calcuating machine thingy. I quit smoking three months ago, gained ten pounds. I want to make permanent changes, nothing I can't maintain. I'd rather be stable weight and healthy than harm myself any more. BUT I HATE this big belly thing! Six kids; twin birth four years ago, argh! Definitely not a teenage body anymore here! Self hatred is the first hate to shed. Let's all start there, eh!
