I'm cold all the time, especially my hands and feet but i haven't noticed whether it's more often when i'm slimmer. Maybe when you have less body fat you are less able to keep warm? I always joke that I'm cold because I must have reached zero percent body fat!

I found that as I was loosing weight by working out. My body would tend to get colder. I then found out the dehyrdration is partially to blame. So, as I drank more, the fluctuations in body temperature decreased. I also found that overall, I felt colder than when I was heavier, maybe with excess fat and weight, the body would seem to work harder moving around, thus making it feel hotter than usual. Now with loosing weight, we dont exert as much to move, so there isnt an increase in body temperature, thus making us feel cold.

It is true that I live in a cold part of the United States, I am usually a very warm person. And when your outside in the elements it is only natural to be cold. But, when I am inside where it is heated, I am getting cold. This never happened to me in the past. So I am chalking it up to losing my insulation. Thank you for your responses and ideas.

I have learned in biology class a long time ago that when your calorie intake decreases, your body tries to save energy by different means, one being that your internal thermostat is turned down. I experience the same effect when I loose weigh and now considers it an added bonus: instead of bundling up, I start fidgeting, or jumping or what-not : it keeps me warm and gets me 10 minutes of cardio extra!
