Default How do you keep your motivation?..

Okay, so I just got a kick in the rear to get started on a regimen to get thinner, and I'm all geared up for it......for now.

What I was wondering, is how do you keep yourself motivated to keep working out and eating right? I've always lived by the "You Only Live Once" rule, so when I doubt myself I binge or just give up caring about how bad something is for me. I know I don't have the motivation to go on the South Beach Diet or something like that, so I'm just going to try to eat healthier, smaller portions, better snacks, and workout some, but I know I'll get sidetracked if I don't find a way to stay into it.

I was thinking about setting teensy week-long goals, like, work out every day for 30 minutes for a week, or eat healthy every day for a week, but how can I reward myself? I'm on a college student budget, so I can't afford to get my nails done or anything like that, so I'm out of ideas. (In the past, I've rewarded myself with a taste of one of the "forbidden" foods, but then I fall off the bandwagon alltogether and decide it's not worth holding back from what I love.)

I've just reached a point where if I don't do something about my weight now, I'll never be happy with myself, and I'll always end up dating the guys who I don't really like, because I'll never think I'm good enough for the guys I like..

Sorry it's so long, but a day into it and I'm already doubting myself. (Not a very good sign, is it?)
