Default what do you do when a crave attack hits?

In the past when I craved something I just ate it!! Now, I am trying to control those cravings but sometimes when I get something in my head that I think I must have, it won't go away! I try to snack on the things I am suppose to but chocolate is still stuck in my head. I have not given in but I am going crazy!!!! What do you do?..

Tasha, Jane was saying weigh then walk!
In other words, she checks her weight to see how she\'s doing, then she walks to take her mind off the craving. Am I right, Jane?
As for me...when a craving hits, I check my food log to see how many calories I have left for the day. Then I check the calories on what I\'m craving. If I\'m doing good with my calories, and the food I\'m craving isn\'t high enough in calories to throw me over at the end of the day, I might go ahead and have a little of it.
But, if my calorie allowance for that day won\'t allow it, I\'ll tell myself I can have it on my cheat day. When my cheat day rolls around, I usually find I don\'t really want it anymore.

I actually don\'t crave chocolate but when I do have cravings I drink water. May sound dumb but it works for me usually. If not I keep some sugar free hard candy on hand. One piece is usually really low calories so it is ok to have every once in a while.

I have chocolate cravings a lot, but have found Quaker Rice Snacks control my cravings. They come in yummy flavors, including chocolate and I can eat 7 of them and it is only 60 calories. I have found that there are so many substitutes out there. Weight Watchers desserts are awesome too. Otherwise if I really crave something and only the real thing will work, I let myself have it and just control the portion. I hope this helps!

Cravings !!!!! This is a good one for me, when I crave something I reach for a piece of fruit nine times out of ten it does the trick for me. Now if I eat chocolate I share it with my friends I take a piece and give them the rest, at least that way I know I\'m not breaking the bank so to speak.
I find that having a piece of chocolate once in a while is okay as long as you remember the key word moderation. Now for me I feel like my food goes straight to my hips, whether I eat something I\'m craving or something that\'s not good for me like the onion rings I had with supper last night, that was a no no, but I hadn\'t had anything deep fried for ages and thought once is not bad, but I wouldn\'t do that everyday.
Think moderation when it comes to cravings. I always ask myself do I really want this, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn\'t it just depends on me, like am I really craving this, or do I just want it. That\'s how I used to think, now I think I don\'t really want it the last time I had a chocolate was Valentine\'s Day and that was only one. I told my family don\'t get me anything with chocolate, but get me something for Easter a good chocolate that I can savor for a long time.
