ok here is the prob. i'm a waitress and our manager just changed the rules on our waitressing. we did have sections of 3-4 tables each and we had to do the work we were given. well, all of a sudden, she said we have to grab our customers. and that hard to do and less money. i've had tips stolen and the others still don't do their share of things. and u can talk to the manager and owners and nothing gets done about it. i love my customers and they don't want me to leave, but i can't deal over having to fight for my money. i don't think it's fair. what do u guys suggest i do?????

Hey this is right up my alley. I am a manager and former owner of a restaurant and I am going to tell you it will never work. The manager will eventually have to change it back. The customers will either get neglected or the waitresses will have friction which is never good in a restaurant. Anyways, most times managers dont want to hear that their idea is a bad one so you are going to have to ride it out and wait for him/her to figure it out on their own.
The best thing for you to do is say hey if you think it\'s a good idea let\'s go with it. I know it sucks but this the way people operate. I hope it works out for you, let me know ~K~
