Default Dreaded Diet Plateau!

Hey Everyone! Does anybody have any advice about hitting a diet plateau? I have lost 18 lbs. so far, but this is the second time in the past couple of weeks that the numbers on my scale just won't budge! It's frustrating because I have been sticking to my diet, and have been trying so hard. I won't give up though! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I'm in the same boat, been stuck for about 2 weeks now, but I know that if we stick to it, the weight loss will kick-in again.
If you're really only eating 800 calories / day, I would actually recommend 1 day/week of eating 1400-1600 calories/day. This will sort of shock/wake-up your metabolism, kind of like a cup of coffee.
The weight loss should increase the days following your 'big' day as the metabolism increase will hopefully last for a while. Good Luck.

Switch it up. Do a different routine. Eat dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. Switch things around. Change your workout routine. This usually works. It tricks your body. Dan hit it right on the nose.

It also helps to mix up your cardio schedule. If all your doing is the treadmill and never mix it up your body gets use to this cardio and therefore it is not "struggling" or "shocked" at this. You need to mix that up and your body needs to adapt to something new. Instead of running for 5mph on the treadmill, 4mph at a 3% incline or something.
