Just was wondering what everyone is doing for Thanksgiving...
Where you will be and with whom???
I also want to know if anyone is pre-planning what they are going to eat?
My biggest obstacle is the stuffing. I have always made it with sausage and mushrooms etc and it is to die for. Unfortunatley, it is right off the chart in calories.
If i start to eat it, i am doomed. So i have to come up with an alternative. Any ideas?

Nancy,
We are having Thanksgiving at home with all our family coming over.

My plan of action is the 3~bite rule and to only put on my plate what I really cant live without.

Micheal will be spending Thanksgiving at home, just the two of us.*** We'll be leaving Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon.**It will be a 13 hour drive at least, so we won't even get there til sometime Thanksgiving*morning so we're considering going to a restaurant for dinner rather than cooking a huge meal.* I need to go home to take care of Christmas for the grandkids*and we need to get tags on both vehicles or we'd just stay here.

We're actually doing a 'turducken', cajun-style w/sausage, andouille...etc which I'm quite certain is as lethal as you can get diet-wise, but, like I said before, I will have it all out of the house by Fri, so I can live thru 1 day.

A Turducken is actually three different birds with layers of stuffing between each bird.* A chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey.* It's YUMMY!
