Hopefully, I will pass the torch to my kids.* I hope that I have started early enough in their lives that they won't have problems with knowing the correct way to eat.* I hope I can achieve early prevention to weight loss!

Default Passing the torch...

Okay Buddies...

When you reach goal, who is the one person in your life that YOU hope to inspire next, by your success, and good example, *to start this journey??

Who will you pass the torch to???

Mine is my mother. Whom I absolutely adore and is one of my best friends... But she is over weight, a severe diabetic, and she just doesnt take care of herself. She also NEVER exercises at all, and can barely take a walk anywhere without losing her breath. So I hope by myself AND my sister both losing weight that she will now try to be healthier too! Because I would like her to be around for a few more years!!!

Who is yours?????

Dawn

Oh, my husband!* * What's the point of looking and feeling great and living to 100 if my poor hubby feels aweful and tired and dies young from not caring for himself.* I wanna get old with him and still be able to have fun!*

I hope to inspire my husband along the way. He is overweight too. And I want him to be healthy so he can live a long time for me and for us. I also want to inspire my older brother, who is severly overweight. Ladies, we can all do this, and Dawn, thanks for adding me as your friend. You are truly a new flame to put under all of us and to inspire us to want to lose weight for ourselves. YAY!

Good question Dawn..* I've already inspired a few people..* I hope next to inspire my father though...* He had open heart surgery 4 years ago and following the surgery lost a whole lot of weight and was walking on a treadmill every day.. But unfortunately that all stopped and I fear that he is actually heavier now than he was before the surgery... I'm having a lot of trouble getting him to go for it though.. He's competitive so I think as I get closer to goal he might get the fire lit..* I hope..

My baby sister and my son & daughter-in-law.**My sister*rags on me (behind my back) about my weight, but she's almost as big as me.* I don't think she will, though.* She thinks she's just fine.
But my son is only 24 and I'm sure he weighs close to 400 lbs.* He just got married Labor Day weekend.* And his new wife is pretty big, too...probably around 250-275.* They're too young to be that big.* I've tried to talk them* into going on a diet, but so far it hasn't worked.
Hopefully, when I finally get this weigth off, they'll all three see the difference and make an effort.

Well...my DH is already involved a little. But I figure when I'm all hot looking, he's probably going to jump on the wagon, lol. Now, my main motivation is my children, who are not even remotely overweight. I just want to set a good and healthy example. That's my main priority.
