Default I don't want my baby to grow up fat

I'm at least 22 pounds more than I was before I became pregnant. If I don't change my ways and my weight, it it more than likely that my 8mth old baby girl will grow up fat.

Genetically, my parents and brother are over-weight. They don't believe in eating in moderation and do virtually no exercise (wait, they do click the tv remote - so that is some exercise, huh?)

As a kid, I used to be super-skinny, even underweight but now post-pregnancy, I'm struggling to exercise and eat right. I have a multitude of excuses - baby was crying alot, baby took a long time with her feeds, too tired, too hungry, not enough sleep.

I need to quit the excuses and just get off my butt. I'm a petite girl (4ft9in) and weigh 122pounds now. I used to weigh 99pounds and that is my goal. I have some lovely clothes that I miss wearing.

Also my husband used to love showing me off to his friends and colleagues. Now we barely go out. He's not ashamed of me, but some people can be cruel when you're big and fat. I want him to have that slim girl that he had before our beautiful baby Alexis came along.

Our baby also needs to see her mommy looking slim, fit and healthy and she will likely follow in having a healthier and fitter life.
