Yup - in the end (& beginning too) - each person has to take control for themselves. We can garner as much support as we can from website, blogs, family,...etc, but in the end - we are all responsible for ourselves and have to accept that.

Default Whose life is it anyways!!!

I really wanted to take a moment to encourage everyone that visits this site. I want you to know that the power is in you to live the life you want to live. Food does not have control. People do not have control. Circumstances do not have control. YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER YOU AND YOUR LIFE! I know that life gets in the way, but it is up to you how you will handle it. Stressed? What are you going to do about it? Unhappy? What are you going to do about? The choice is up to you. As you start your day you can be determined and assured that no one and nothing can change your mind that you will love yourself and treat yourself well. TAKE CONTROL!!!!

Hi Stephanie, It really helps to hear what you are saying because I think we get so involved with our problems and life that we forget we're the ones that make all the difference. I know I've been going through quite a bit and its made me want to give up on everything. I know that's not the solution and that I have to react differently to life's events. Of course I also understand that things are easier said than done and it does require a huge effort and sacrifice on my part. It's extremely difficult when you've lived life a certain way, to just snap out of it, but it has to be done to live a fulfilling life. Anyway, I just wanted to say I appreciate your honesty and its given me a little kick in the pants that will hopefully make me snap out of it. (Sorry I babbled!) Again, thanks! Lilian
