Not weight related but I was just thinking of Thanksgiving and then of course I was thinking of Christmas.* When do you all start putting up Christmas decorations?* I know some already have.* We do it the day after Thanksgiving.* We have off work and we just use that whole day relaxing around the house and decorating!* I love that day, even though I'm usually the only one doing most of it.*

I go shopping the day after Thanksgiving and when I get home that afternoon I put up my Christmas decorations.* I do a little then I rest, do a little more and rest some more.

The past two years we spent Christmas in hotels, so*it will be a big deal for us this year.* We don't have much room, and we don't like artificial trees,*so we're thinking about buying a potted tree, decorating it and giving it away after Christmas. (We're renting right now so*planting it won't be an option unless the landlord agrees to it.)
We're gonna have to spend the day after Thanksgiving getting tags on our vehicles and driver's licenses, so we'll be doing our decorating*that Saturday.**We have enough lights and decorations for a full*7-foot tree, so I'll have plenty to decorate the*house with, too.* I'm beginning to get excited about it.* And I've got to get started on the grandkids ornaments if I'm gonna get them to them before Christmas, so I'm gonna be a busy lady when I get home!!!

Sounds like fun Mary!* I'm getting excited also.* I love Christmas!!

I was in a *mood last night, so I got my daughter and we pulled out all the stuff! * Right now, we have up the tree with most of the ornaments on it and the angel topper, the nativity scene, and one of my Santa's are out.* You won't believe how many surfaces I can cover in a 2Bdr Apartment!

My family always decorated the day after thanksgiving. My mom loves Christmas... if she had it her way she would leave the decorations up all year! But this year, I am married and my husband and I get to start our own traditions. Since we don't have much, with what we have I would like to put up the day after thanksgiving, and as we get more stuff (crosses fingers) I will put it up... I love Christmas and I can't wait to start our own traditions! (Even though a lot of them are from when I grew up and I want to keep.)

We usually do it in December but DH made it day before Thanksgiving thing. It was fun,actually. We may do this again.
