Well done on the good choices, I often let price decide too but I have to face it that healthier things are sometimes more expensive and it is worth it!

Well done on the walk and good look with the workout, I'm off work today too so plan on doing a agood workout, pity I stayed in bed till 12...lol!!

Hi there, Well my ffod yesterday ws good - no breakfast thoug, veggie stew for lunch, roast beef, rice and beans for supper. Water still not 100% but working on it.
Today is a big day in our house. My granddaughter graduates from grade 5 and will be going to a middle school in the fall. so I'm doing a cake for 100 people today. Thank goodness I cna't eat any of it.

My next step in solving my weight loss thing is to realize where the thoughts about being fat and overweight come from. I immediately say myself, my mother, my brother - they all pushed me to lose weight but not in a good way. In looking at it I've come to realize that I've had a lot of anger towards a lot of people of that. I think it may also be a way of me maintaining some control of them. So over the years I think I've got it all backwards and the blaming is only making me stay fat. I feel now that I face those issues a little better and focus on me and my needs and not the needs of the others in my life. I can let the ridicule, hurtful remarks and looks of disgust go now. That for me is a big step - taking the responsiblity for myself and stop blaming and hating others.

I hate when to eat healthy it is so much more, but in the long run!!!! Totally worth it!!!

What are you going to make with food processor?

Well done on the food....and cake for 100 people!! wow! that is gonna be a lot of people!

I'm glad that figuring these things is helping you. It's great. I think that we only lose weight and keep it off when we do it for ourselves and out own reasons. Other people making hurtful comments or pushing us to it usually does the opposite. You're doing great. And you're right we all have to take responsibility for ourselves and make out own healthy choices

Well, it is a beautiful day here. Really sunny, 25 C (just googled it and that = 77F!!). It never usually gets much hotter than that here, but it's lovely!!

Well have had the day off and been busy. Cleaned my house for 2 hours and I think it was good excerise sweeping and mopping! Then walked around town for about 2 hours shopping and running errands (boring things like the tax office and buying toilet cleaner, lol! i lead an exciting life!).

Food, well I slept till midday so no breakfast. Had weetabix and milk, a pita, beans and cheese for lunch: 480 cals.

Went to a stall while i was shopping: the nut hut! like a sweet pick and mix but all nuts and seeds!! I chose the healthy ones (not salted or anything) and got some almonds, cashews, brazil nuts and hazel nuts. also allowed myself 2 chocolate covered brazil nuts...they were GOOD!!! So not good calorie wise but healthy anyway.

Dinner I made some veggie risotto with a little extra light philadelphia and a spoon of goats cheese to make it creamy....mmmm! Had some tinned fish with it.

So I am happy with this healthy food. Nearly 7pm here and I plan on going out for a walk later, when I get the energy!

Yeah, dinner was good! had loads of veg in it....was really tasty!

Hmmmm....the running....lol! Well on my walk the other day I had a 6 min jog in the middle and I found it TOUGH! my lungs hurt so bad (the effects of my smoking, I know). I am really enjoying walking at the minute (went for another hour this evening!)

But, yes, I will get back into it. I am going on holiday friday to tuesday with some friends so I will get back to it when I get back from there!

Thanks for the reminder! You still doing aqua-spinning?

Your meals always sound tasty! yes I still go aqua-spining. I go Monday/Wednesday and Thursdays. Love it and love the water!
