Boy you move fast. You just joined buddy slim and already starting a group. Good for you.
I, on the other had started very slowly. I join BS to use the food journal then after a couple of weeks or so I started reading some of the blogs so I decide to create a blog (my first ever). Then a couple of week ago I joined the ONEDERLAND group.
I started my journey the last half of 2008 (half-heartedly) At the end of June I dug out my scale bc I knew I gained a bit of weight. I saw 249.6, "HOLY COW how did that happen?" So, I started to watch it a bit & started eating breakfast (huge thing for me). Sometimes I thought what does it really matter but the more I kept going the more I felt I SHOULD do this. I sloowwly lost 17 lbs over the next 5 month. Then I maintained for a month through the holidays. After the first of the year I no longer felt I SHOULD do this, I felt I WANT to do this. So, I declared to my kids (14 & 16) "2009 is mine". Jan 9th I started a eating plan @ 232.4, Joined BS Jan 12th to date I have lost 21.2 lbs (211.2) since Joining Buddy Slim. Total = 38.4 lbs Since BS doesn't show partial pounds my ticker started me at 232 & I round up, it shows me at 212. The last time I measured was on March 6th, I had lost 12 1/4 inches. I finally got around to exercising two weeks ago.
Oh, my eating plan is a high protein, low fat 1200 -1400 calorie diet. I am going to be 50 this Aug and would love to be at 175 for that.
So, that is pretty much everything about me. (maybe more than you want)
