HEy Guys So sorry I haven't been around this week. We're all sick and I pulled some muscles in my lower back so it hasn't been fun As far as points go if it's not too late. I did drink eight glasses everyday, except one but I think I posted that. 45 min walk wed and thurs. I can't meet my personal goal this week. Doc. said no bending, weights etc. for a few days and I don't have enough days left in the week to get three strength workouts in. If I do it today and tomorrow that'll be two! Anyway now that we're not diseased and moving is not as excruciating I can get back into it! My walks were pretty entertaining, I looked like a fat penguin waddling my little one to school!

Awww no sad face for 40 minutes of walking! That's a great job! Be proud that you got up and moved for 40 minutes in stead of sitting on your butt!

Awww that sucks that you guys are still sick! and you back! When you get better try some yoga or stretches at first, it might really help your back and it's still a great way to get a work out in when you can't push your self as hard as you'd like.

I totally agree on the yoga ... I tried it years ago and didn't like it, but now I love it! I do at least a few minutes of yoga almost every single day. It really does help once you get used to the poses. I can tell a big difference in my balance and flexibility since I started doing it several months ago.

Anyway, I had 9 glasses of water and did 20 min. of strength training today. Not exactly a great "last chance workout," but at least I met my personal goal for the week.

Speaking of which, I did my minimums for the challenge this week, so no automatic elimination for me. I have to admit I am nervous about the weigh-in, though. Last week I was really confident that I had probably lost 2-3 pounds and I ended up GAINING 1, so I am really worried now! Oh well ... nothing I can do about it now, right?

Off to post on the points thread ...

Good evening Sistas!!

Ok so I just posted on the points thread:

70 minutes cardio (60 hardcore and 10 cool down)
60 minutes of weight training (glutes, hammies, quads and calves)
2- recipes
4 - tips
12 glasses of water

Tomorrow is my interview with Washington State for their BSN nursing program. I am sure I will be sore so I hope that I dont walk in their looking like I have a stick up my butt...lol That might make them think twice about accepting me...LOL

The plan is to get up early - weigh in and measure, post here and then get a good workout before I go. That way I should be nice and relaxed...have to admit I think I am nervous...feel like my whole life hinges on a 15 minute interview....sheesh...

Anyway - I think we rocked this week and kicked those BubbyBabes butts...LOL

Hey got my last workout in 45 min walk so no auto elimination! Didn't do great at the weigh-in but I could barely move all week and there was definately a bit of convience food too this week. So all in all it's OK. GO TEAM 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!
