Hi guys, I wanted to start this thread so all South Beach dieters can share their menus and experiences with one another. This is a place where we can support eachother and help eachother with questions. So grab your beach towel and sun block and come hang out at the Beach!

Hope you don't mind that I am here. I have been a south beacher for a LONG time now and I am always looking to swap tips and recipes!

Oh, I also just read that there is going to be a new book out in April called South Beach super charged. Can't wait for that!

Ok, question, is tomato juice from concentrate allowed in Phase 1? I thought yes, but I don't want to make another SB blunder!

I'm so glad to have found this in the forums. I must admit I'm not the best with this form of posting. I hope to learn alot and maybe give some suggestions I've learned along the way!!

From concentrate? Not sure on that one but I know that you can have the canned kind like v8. is that concentrate??

Yup, that's what I have, the canned stuff. It's Campbell Tomato Juice from concentrate. I won't risk it for now...I'll just wait until Phase 2!

Hey Jo, the tomatoe Juice is fine for phase 1. I looked it up...Drink away!

Hi fellow beach bums!

I'm following southbeach. I tried it a couple of years ago and it seemed to suit me really well. I don't get hungy on it, and i actually feel healthier, sleep better.
It will be good to to have a thread to share recipes, questions etc.
