Today is day 4 for me and it is always the hardest day for some reason. Days 4 & 5 I just want to eat everything in sight. I won't though. I will get through these two tough days!

I have been back on since Monday, with the exception of the pizza Ted bought for us. But I have dropped 2 pounds since the weekend and feel much better. Day 3 for me.

I just bought the new south beach diet supercharged and am going to start the south beach diet for the first time. The diet sounds great! I was wondering if I could get some great easy to take to work lunch ideas from you all???? I hope you don't mind if I join your forum for support. I am thinking Saturday will be my start date, as I didn't want to start the diet right now as l will probably eat carbs on the 4th of July! Happy Sun Bathing everyone!

That is great welcome! Are you doing Phase 1 or 2?

I will need to start on phase 1 as I have lots of weight to lose. Kinda worried about the first phase...How were your experiences during the phase 1?

To be honest, couldn't do Phase 1. Due to my diabetes. I started with 2. Good luck!

Well, I started Phase 1 today. This is my first time trying the South Beach Diet. I was going to start yesterday but wasn't 100% ready. I did pretty good today, but I felt the urge to munch more...hopefully that will pass soon! I made a quiche to have on hand for a quick breakfast for the week. I was having a hard time coming up with lunch ideas, but today I tried a turkey roll up with lettuce and it was much better than I expected...so between that and salads along with a few leftovers from dinner I should be ok with lunches during phase 1, which was my biggest worry. How is everyone else doing????
