My quick reply....HELP!!! Firstly, I'm have to say that I'm a scared lil' cat over here. I love my bread. (Sorry I just had to get that out) I haven't fully read through the book yet...but two things, I need to see if you may know... one is..does this plan recommend vitamin supplements?? And 2..a grocery list for the first phase....does anyone know where to find it...I do not want to pay to go on the site and want to get started asap...thanks

Yeah isn't that funny never I guess I'm not a sweater but that SALSA ugh man I was dancing and spinning and doing all kinds of steps and sweating bullets lol lol Man I was gonna go home and workout but there is a house showing between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will this house sell already ugh Im getting sick of it! You can do it TASHA one good week come on now....This is my last weigh-in at KMART this week and I can't wait it messes up my routine and flying schedule lol lol I should have a pretty good weigh-in!
Will let you guys know!

Two thirds of a day down. And that was with the kids having chocolate milk for lunch. Now I'm going to clean my kitchen. Believe it or not, it helps me not eat.

Good Monday Ladies!!! Tasha I'm back one phase1 with ya girl (one week thursday) and we CAN do this!!!!!! I just wanted to post South Beach Friends • Index page. This sight is great! The recipe part gives you recipes for everything under the sun. It also tells ya the phase on most. One downfall is that there is no nutrtional info. I have a few recipes from it and so far they have all been good. I'm off until thursday so I will check in with ya ladies this week. The sun is starting to shine outside so maybe i can sneak in some time outside. Big huggggssss to everyone!! Oh, and try this web site I promise you will not reget it! One more thing. Google search one minute muffin and find the recipe for this hearty SB approved breakfast or really anytime muffin. It's great!!!

I have the original book that came out about 5 years ago so things may have changed somewhat. I don't remember if they say to take a supplement but I do. I take several things but a multivitamin is a good place to start. Cut it in half and take half in the morning and the other half right before you go to bed. I also take a calcium with magnesium and fish oil too.

Shopping list that is listed in the book:
Beef: Lean cuts such as: Sirloin (including ground)
Tenderloin
Top round
I also found a bag of seasoned steak strips made by Tyson. (good for salads)

Poulty (skinless)
Cornish Hen
Turkey Bacon (2 slices per day)
Turkey & Chicken Breast

Seafood:
all types of fish & shellfish

Pork:
Boiled ham
Canadian bacon
Pork Tenderloin

Veal:
Chop
Cutlet, leg
Top Round

Lunchmeat:
Fat free or lowfat only

Cheese:
FAT FREE OR LOWFAT
American, Cheddar, Cottage cheese (1-2% or Fat free)
Cream cheese, Feta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Provolone, Ricotta, String

Nuts:
Peanut Butter 1 tsp., Peanuts 20, Pecan halves 15, Pistachio 30, Cashews 15,
Pick one per day

Unlimited use of eggs

Tofu:
Use soft, lowfat or lite varieties

All veggies, EXCEPT potatoes, corn, baked beans, sweetpeas

Fats:
Canola Oil, Olive Oil

Can use broth, all spices, extracts (Almond, vanilla and others), Horseradish sauce, I can't believe it;s not butter spra, smart balance

Sweets: Sugar free jello, fat free or light cool whip, sugar free hard candy, Sugar free popsicles or fudge pops, sugar substitutes.
Can have dairy also...Low fat or skim milk, plain nonfat yogurt...


No fruit, bread, pasta, rice

remember: This came out of my older book. Things might be updated by now.

Jayne posted this website earlier too. I took a glance at it and it looks like it has alot of great stuff! I will look it over later when I have more time! Thanks for sharing it with us! Always looking for new recipes!

I'm back!! sorry I've been missing, I'm not to good at the forum thingy. Still trying to figure it all out, I want to reply to certain posts and I have to learn how to do it!!!

Ok, so we have Jo, Shanna, Tasha, Angela, Jill, Diane, Florence, Jayne....did I get everyone? Gosh I hope so...if not its the fault of Phase I and no BREAD!!! LOL!!! Geez that was tough, I did cave a bit, but proud to say today I'm doing South Beach Phase II and I think I'll be a nicer person for it!! At least my family will agree on that one!!! SmileyCentral.com

That was my biggest hangup with South Beach. I'm in love with my breads, pastas etc. You can do it. I slipped a couple times, but overall I did ok. Phase II allows some bread and pasta, so hang in there!!!

You are too funny Jane and by the way where have you been trying to get all of the sun lol loll I;ve been looking for you everyday! PHASE II is awesome and after my weigh-in on Saturday my final KMART weigh-in I'm going to PHASE III I exercise enough to be there but wanted to lose at least 6 more lbs for my final weigh-in fingers are crossed!!! Anyway stay off the beach and try to stick with us why don't you lol lol lol Missed you...or maybe it was me that missed out who knows I've been yelling for you since last week lol lol lol
