I had sashimi the other day for lunch and somehow it really didn't work for me. I couldn't even finish it. I usually like sushi, but I have to admit, I really prefer the rice/seaweed/fish combo... But one thing i love for a snack is edamame. As long as they don't put salt on it, its pretty healthy stuff. You could get it as a side when you order sushi and have it for snack later.
I'm still doing well today although i am having a hungry day, and my colleague brought cake into the office which was evil of him! he won't eat it of course (he's like an iron man athlete) so he brought it in so we would instead. Surprisingly though, I was not terribly tempted. Even with the hungries. The cake just didn't look good to me. Guess that means phase 1 is working!! I just hope everyone else finishes it before I have to go back into the kitchen again! haha!
Happy healthy Tuesday everyone!

Have never had Sashimi, I will have to try it. My fave is Caifornia rolls. I haven't had much edamame, just in salad, but I like it.
Good luck with that cake, you can do it!
I was kinda bad last nite, had a bit of garlic bread with dinner, but the rest was good. grilled tilapia, and fresh veggies and a bit of rice pilaf.

Doing okay... having a bit of a fat day today. grr. but still working hard to stay on track!
I think i've been snacking on too many nuts and seeds. --too much sodium and fat. They are just so quick and easy and I like the crunch! Any other crunchy easy phase one snack ideas anyone?

How about some fresh veggies? Baby carrots and celery do the trick for me, I also love red, yellow and orange pepper strips. Hang in there.
I'm doing good, just had my granola and fresh fruit, Phase 2.
