Doing good today, had a good workout, too. Trying to get myself corraled strict on the program, and my time off is helping.

Hi Everyone! Today is day 4 for me and this evening has been a little tough. I had a bad day at work and I usually turn to some sort of comfort (carbs) food and so far I haven't, which is probably why I'm so crabby . Tasha, thanks for the tip on the cauliflower, I am trying that either tomorrow or Friday. Kama, my mom is trying the south beach too and has diabetes, I know she has to do phase 2 since she needs some carbs. Tea, your family sounds like an inspiration and to keep it off for 2 + years is wonderful...I am very excited about his diet!

Angela, I wish your daughters well! They are very lucky to have such a loving mom. I'm glad to hear they are doing better!
I'm in good shape today still. Eating is going well. I went out for dinner last night which I was nervous about but I did pretty well. Had a mozarella/tomato salad and some grilled spicy shrimp that were admittedly a little oily but there wasn't much i could do, the power kept going out at the restaurant so asking them to adjust the oil content while they were changing the fuse box would have been a little tough... it's really hot here, I guess that's why the power kept going out.
I have a little bit of a tummy ache though these past couple days. This happens to me a lot on south beach. I think its the lack of carbs. Does this happen to anyone else? and if so, how do you treat it?
Off to boot camp tonight! I hope everyone is doing well!
Christine, I hope tomorrow is a better day for you! good for you for keeping with the healthy eating even in a bad mood :-)

Why thank you very much Tea and welcome sweetie! Sorry I haven't been around much but due to my circumstances I either get on early morning or late night when Miss Princess Brittany is sleep. Well welcome to the beach and know it's a lot of fun and there are wonderful people here. I check in every now and then but once I get back on track beware I love to SPLASH around in here lol. Have a great day and welcome again!!

Today on the diet has been much better for me...no cheating yet for me, they brought cake into work and I resisted...yeah! Tea, I am getting tummy aches too...not sure what to do to improve it. I wonder if that will go away in Phase 2??? Take care everyone!!! This weekend will be my biggest challenge yet....
