usually on the package it will say uncooked x~amount of calories or prepared x~amount of calories but that is not the case on this package of beans...I know being as they are high in fiber that they are good for you it and that a small amount should fill you up but I was looking at a 1/4 size measuring cup and it just seemed soooo small...We'll see.

Thank you everyone,

That's why you do*beans on the weekend!!!* But you can also add a little baking soda while they're cooking and that will help.

I eat alot of beans! Because of the protien in them! And they are very good for you as well!
Instead of a burrito I'll just eat the beans with cheese! Yummy!!!

Default Beans

I bought a package of mixed beans yesterday that comes w/a season packet of ham flavor to add to them while cooking...I thought beans will be perfect as they are high in fiber...I looked at the serving size today and for 1/4 cup it is 6pts....That seems kind of high in pts for only a 1/4 c. of beans...I don't think that will be enough to fill me up...

Any thoughts or ideas on beans?**

Some beans are higher in fat.* Great Northern or Pinto beans are really good.**Just be careful about adding anything to them.* That's where a lot of fat comes in.
