Default Protein Breakfast

Hi everyone. It seems like most breakfast foods are high in carbohydrates like cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast etc. I'm not on a low-carbohydrate plan but I find that my body works better if I eat protein in the morning. For a while now I've been having eggs or ham or yogurt with fruit or nuts for breakfast but I've grown quite bored of that. Any suggestions on how to jazz up my breakfast protein?
