The Recipe for the healthy chicken fingers.
There will be no need for bread crumbs, eggs or oils of any kind!!! Now i bet you are saying " what? this girl is crazy!" but what i say and what i saw*is true!!!! you buy two or more (depending on how many you are feeding) chicken breast, boneless and skinless. you cut them with poultry scissors in long strips (remember they ARE chicken fingers) you let them sit in some buttermilk, make sure they are drenched, and put them in the fridge for about 15-20 min. (Buttermilk tenderizes the chicken and also acts as a*glue for the covering, it is also healthier than eggs.) while the chicken is in the fridge you get about 4 cups or more of chex cereal, the regular or whole wheat (whole wheat is healthier) and put them in a freezer bag and pound on them until they are as thin as they could be. (this will be your "breading") after 20 minutes is up take the chicken, drain the excess buttermilk, and cover it with the chex cereal, you can do this on top of wax paper or foil if you like, and get a cookie sheet or any kind of baking sheet and lightly glaze with a fat free cooking spray, and line them up one after the other. while you are " breading" the chicken, preheat the oven to 400 degrees and once you are ready to put the chicken on the sheets in cook it for about 15-20 min. or until golden brown. THERE YOU HAVE IT!!!!!! HEALTHY CHICKEN FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
