Default Breakfast??

What are some (very!) quick and easy breakfasts? I usually only have 40 minutes in the morning to shower, make my lunch, and rush out the door to catch my bus for school and I need something I can make quickly, or grab and go!

we do instant oatmeal if we're short on time. yogurt and granola or just yogurt. peanut butter sandwich is a nice one. eggs wrapped in a tortilla is portable. you can get lots of things in the freezer section, too, i think.

Well you could always try making your lunch the night before ~ to save a little bit of time the next morning. Quick breakfasts that i eat are: raisin bran and skim milk; cottage cheese and yogurt or fruit, sometimes I even make up a batch of healthy muffins and then freeze them then pull 2 out each nite for breakfast the next morning. Its great that your trying to plan it out, you will be more successful :0) Go you!

I would go with oatmeal and a banana. You could even use a little sugar free low cal syrup on the oatmeal for flavor...

I agree with maybe making your lunch the night before. It saves so much time! I love to make breakfast sandwiches in the morning. It takes maybe 10 minutes and its so easy. cook 1 egg (however you like it), add ham and cheese to it, then put it in a toasted whole wheat english muffin. It's so yummy and filling.

i'm boring. i'm a huge lover of special k's chocolety delight cereal in the mornings. if you can't do the cereal thing with 1% milk, try doing a yogurt and granola mix, its fast, easy and very yummy!
