Default Weight control oatmeal?

Has anyone tried the weight control oatmeal yet? I got some yesterday and plan to try it today. Just wondering if it's good and if it really works to help keep you feeling full?

I eat this every morning now for about 5 weeks. I think its great, it helps me control my calories and helps keep me satisfied longer in the late mornings and after lunch with all the fiber and protein is has. It dosen't use sugar only sucrulose (splenda) which is good instead of aspartame. I didn' t feel the effect right away only after a few days of eating it every morning then I started to notice that I wasn't as hungry. I hope you find it a helpful tool to your healthy weight loss as I did, good luck.

Thanks for the reply! I have ate it every day for a few days. Today for the first time I couldn't even finish the bowl. I only ate about half of it. I normally don't get hungry until about 1:30. I don't put anything in it except the water. My only problem with it is I got the banana bread and I don't really care for it. I plan to get the cinnamon today. Ever since I started weight watchers I only eat splenda no more sugar for me!!! I have now started drinking only water. So far I have lost about 11 pounds I think....according the Dr. scales I've lost 14 but I'm going by mine since that is what I use most of the time. What flavor do you buy? Do you find yourself eating the whole bowl? I did until today. I think it's like you said it takes it a few days to really give you the full effect. Thanks again!! :-)

Have you guys tried Uncle Sam's oatmeal in the health food section? It's made with whole wheat flakes and flax seed. Do I sound like a commercial? It has 5 grams of fiber ( 3 gms insoluable )and is 130 calories. It also has 5 gms of protein. I know the Weight control oatmeal hs 6 gms of fiber ( 2 gms insoluable) and 7 gms of protein so they are both good options. Someone told me about the Uncle Sam cereal so I just bought it and I'm going to try it out with some berries.

I don't like the banana bread either, it sound better than it tastes...LOL I do like the cinnamon but my favorite is the maple and brown sugar. I too just add water. I'm starting my weight watcher this week. Yes there are days when I can't finish the bowl, sometimes I try to just so I won't get hungry later but it can be hard on some days. It's funny how you can train your body to get used to certain behaviors like eating less and feeling satisfied. Great job on your weight loss! THat's great.

The weight-controlled Apple and cinnamon is the best. That's what I have in my pantry. I love it. My fiance thinks it tastes disgusting, but he's a picky eater anyways.

oatmeal is such a good thing to control appetite. I just wish I could stop eating the instant stuff and eat the cooked kind.
