Default Fish

Anyone have a quick and easy recipie for fish. I love fish but never prepare it at home. The extent of my "fish experience" is canned tuna or peel and eat shrimp.
I'd love to learn more about selecting and preparing flounder and salmon - I love both!
Send me a message if you have any helpful ideas.

Hey Valerie - I usually just bake my salmon with a little lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on it. I\'ve also experimented with other seasonings.
I had salmon last night that was marinated in a combination of pineapple, soy and ginger that was fantastic.
You can season fish with a lot of different spices. I even like it with just a little salt and pepper.

Hey, now ya talking!! I get 80% if my protein from fish. You\'re talking to the fishiest gal on the block. I like fish because it\'s no hassle cooking and very healthy. I was so looking for a thread where i could contribute. Ask me anything, I\'ll love to help. For new, a few pointers:
- salmon. that\'s the easiest one. even if you just put salt on it and either stew of pan fry it, it\'ll taste great. Is you want to turn out super sleek, then try these two recipes:
(1) place fillet on a piece of aluminum foil (skin down), then place wedges of fresh ginger and sprinkle with vegetable concentrate (the kind you make instant soup with, or crumble a soup cube over it). For extra special, place some lemon wegdes on top. wrap the foil up so it\'ll be steaming and bake in the oven at a high tempreture for 20-30 minutes. unwrap, get rid of all the rap on the top, and eat the best salmon ever. You\'ll be envy of all.
(2) pan fry it. that means putting the

For a halibut fillet, I like to coat the fish with some almond meal in milk or soy milk. You don't need very much milk, just enough to make a mushy paste. Squeeze a bit of lemon on top, add some chopped cilantro, salt and pepper. Bake in a 300F oven until the meat turns opaque. It should be done within 10 minutes or less (1/4 lb.)
