This list is according to Business Week. There are several lists out there, and they are all different. Note: Top Ramen and pies contain alot of transfat as well.

The Top 10 Trans-fat Foods

The Top 10 Trans-fat Foods

It’s not restricted to cheap burger joints. The unhealthy substance lurks in your fridge also. Here are 10 common foods likely to contain trans fat

On Dec. 5, New York City's Board of Health voted to ban trans fats at all city restaurants, from local pizzerias to national chains to high-end hot spots. Now being debated is whether such bans will be instituted in other places around the country or whether restaurants, under pressure from activists, will make the change in other locations on their own.

But trans fats show up plenty outside of restaurants too. They're also present in nearly every kitchen in the country. They may come in that margarine in the refrigerator, the candy bars in the cupboard, or the delicious pound cake fresh from the oven. Many of these foods can be made without any trans fat, but it takes knowledge and understanding of ingredients to know how to do that.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, adult Americans on average consume about 5.8 grams of trans fats or 2.6% of calories, per day. And medical research shows that the daily intake of about 5 grams of trans fat is associated with a 25% increase in the risk of heart disease.

Here's a look at 10 common foods that contain trans fats.
