Default Food Finds!

I looked around & couldn't find a thread started for this, so I wanted to get one going!
When I used to go to WW, we would always leave a few minutes at the end of each meeting for people to share "food finds" - a new food or recipe they had found or tried that was healthy and delicious. I found it to be a great way to find new things to try, to get myself out of a rut while still keeping it healthy!
So if you have a great "secret" food that you think others might like to try, post it here!
I'll start! I was at Costco yesterday and found "Pub Battered Halibut Fillets" - they are so good! You bake them in the oven and it's only 230 calories for two fillets (5 oz of fish total). Full of protein and delicious with a little drizzle of lemon juice right on top.
Can't wait to hear everyone else's great finds!

Right now, my big thing is fruit salad. I use fruit cocktail canned in unsweetened juice, a can of pineapple in it\'s own juice, fat-free cottage cheese and sugar-free Jello. Just drain the fruit, dump it all in a bowl, and mix it up. You use the Jello dry. And you can use different flavors Jello depending on your mood! If I can find mandarin oranges packed in fruit juice, I use them. And you can use fresh fruit, it just doesn\'t keep as long, especially bananas.

My days in WW introduced me to Boca Burgers. They are so good and Im not even a vegetarian. I love them. They are high in fiber and so tastey. I am partial to the portebella mushroom ones. I eat them plain, with ketchup, with scrambled eggs, or with black beans. They are so good.

Mmm, I love boca burgers too, but haven\'t bought them in a while, thanks for the reminder!! They are a lifesaver, full of protein but SO low fat & low cal. These will definitely be in my grocery cart this weekend! Yum!

I highly recommend the Indian food from Tasty Bite. The meals with the rice are just fantastic, and they only take a few minutes to microwave. They are about 300 calories, and enough food that I often don\'t eat it all.

I also buy the ones without rice, and have them for dinner often. I open a few different packs and have them for several meals.

If you sign up for the emailing list you can get coupons for free shipping or 25% off, but you have to buy a lot (like $50). They don\'t need to be refrigerated and last years, so I buy a lot at a time. They are great to have on hand as something quick to eat.

tonight for dinner I had jodphur lentils, kashmir spinach, agra peas and greens, and berani rice. for about 300 calories.

This is the only processed food I eat, the ingredients are all very wholesome. And the food is just fantastic. The Thai food is good too, but more work.
