Post Lisa's Diary

I have been on Buddy slim for almost 2 weeks now. I've lost 8 pounds so far. I have joined The Phoenix group and Fitness Survivor #5. I'm excited about the challenges and encouragement this site has to offer. I have been walking several times a week to get some excercise and I look forward to someday running. I've been trying to watch what I eat and have been logging my food intake daily. I know it's always easier in the beginning, but I know that this time I can succeed. I know that there is a skinny person in there suffocating with all this fat around her. This site helps me to remember my goals and part of reaching your goals is to remember where you want to be and why.

Well, I've lost 14lbs. so far, though I think I've gained a couple back this weekend, hopefully they will be gone again before Saturday's weigh-in. I bought a new glass scale that measures in .2 increments, my old scale still works and measures body fat, but only weighs in .5 increments. I have not been feeling well and did not hike this weekend and have not exercised today, but I'm looking forward to getting back on track tomorrow and going on my hike next weekend.

I have not been on in a while. I gained a few pounds after I won Fitness Survivor and did not want to get back on until my weight had gone back down. I decided I was being silly, so I'm back and working toward reaching my weight loss goal by the end of July 2010. If I can lose 2 pounds a week, that's when i should reach my goal weight. I'm really excited to see an end date and work towards that.
